I first learned of Aviator back in 2022 while on the hunt for American-made jeans. I had grown tired of fast-fashion denim and wanted a pair of pants that would not only last but also adapt. Be it on a plane or at a restaurant, my would-be jeans needed to excel in both style and comfort. Enter Aviator.

The Company

Based in Los Angeles, Aviator prides itself on manufacturing its clothing in an ethical and environmentally friendly manner. Its jeans are produced in small batches using a water-saving methodology aimed at reducing waste.

Fly Straight Jeans: The Basics

I own two pairs of Aviator jeans. The first pair, Best Travel Jeans – Relaxed, I purchased two years ago; the other pair, Fly Straight Jeans, I received for free from Aviator back in October upon joining their influencer program. I have spent the last few months putting the Fly Straight Jeans to the test, and I am now ready to share my thoughts.

Please note that although I received these jeans for free, this review is not a sponsored post. The opinions expressed in this article are my own.

Fly Straight Jeans: My Review and Overall Thoughts

TLDR: A great pair of jeans.

Aviator’s Fly Straight Jeans are easily the most comfortable pants that I own. They have a fairly snug fit, hugging the thighs before relaxing slightly from the knee down, and their stretchy fabric provides them with ample give, making them comfortable to wear whether sitting down or walking around. Unlike traditional denim, they do not bunch up when seated, which is a huge plus and makes them ideal for long-haul flights. Another feature that makes them particularly suited for travel is their deep front pockets, which readily accommodate your phone or passport. And last but not least, they feel soft to the touch, resulting in a super comfy wearing experience.

The not so good

My one knock against these jeans is that they only come in one length, 33.5”. Aviator, however, does offer a free hemming service, but the hemming is done before the jeans ship – and once hemmed, the jeans cannot be returned or exchanged. So, unless you are 100% certain of your inseam measurement, it might be best to have a local tailor or, in my case, a seamstress sister, hem your pants.

Overall

The Fly Straight Jeans are the perfect combination of comfort, style, and practicality. If you are looking for a pair of pants that is versatile, capable of being worn both at home and abroad, look no further.
