No Waiting Required: 5 Completed Fantasy Trilogies to Dive Into
Few things in life are worse than finishing a book only to discover that it ends on a cliffhanger and the sequel isn’t out yet. Months of torturous waiting stand between you and finding out what happens next. With these 5 trilogies though, you need not subject yourself to such agony, for they are all completed and ready to be binge read.
Daughter of Smoke and Bone series by Laini Taylor
I read this series over two years ago (and have since read countless others), but I still consider its story to be one of the most original that I have come across. An enigmatic female protagonist, intricate world-building, forbidden love, and a captivating plot: the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy has all the ingredients for a riveting read.
The Bargainer series by Laura Thalassa
This series is by no means the pinnacle of fantasy – but it is a good time. The story centers around the tension-filled relationship between Callie, a siren, and Des, the Bargainer and King of the Night.
Caraval series by Stephanie Garber
Caraval is an enchanting tale about a magical contest where nothing is as it seems. Garber’s whimsical writing brings the story’s fantastical setting to life and transports you away from mundane reality.
Angels of Elysium series by Olivia Wildenstein
This paranormal romance series starts off on shaky footing but improves with each subsequent book. So, stick with it, and see the series through to the end.
Once upon a Broken Heart series by Stephanie Garber
This Caraval spin-off series is as dazzling and captivating as its predecessor. It features a morally grey love interest, an unputdownable plot, and of course, Garber’s signature whimsical writing.
